In order to make all users happy, the program conveniently combines device-based output profiles with customizable output settings. Device-based profiles allow novice users to start enjoying the program’s conversion capabilities right away – all you need to do is select the input files you wish to convert and the profile of your choice. These profiles are neatly organized in various categories or “devices”, such as iPod, PSP, PS3, Xbox 360, or Cellular Phone, together with some generic categories for other video and some audio codecs. More experienced users can tweak the various settings associated to each profile, and thus somehow “create” their own output profiles.

Was told by website that I needed version 9.1 to continue. I downloaded and installed, however, installation failed. Repair button, still failed. I did this 3 more times and failed. I finally resorted to their uninstall button. Lost all versions.

Take the time to read the CNet notice. China steals everything and packages it as their own to make money off someone else doing the work. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY, GET YOUR MALWARE DEFINITION FILES FROM THE SAME PLACE IOBIT STEALS IT INSTEAD

None – apart from being able to convert from .pdf into other formats and vice-versa. It is a ‘reader’ and it does exactly what it says on the tin, literally!

Looks like inexpensive software, 9 looks clean and sharp. Slow startup. *If you have net applications that call Adobe Reader using System.Diagnostics.Process.Start to print PDF, Reader processes just back up in task list and must be killed manually.

The Cnet downloader came with Webroot Secure Anywhere as an optional addition. I’ve used Webroot products and trust them, so I clicked “agree” to install it. Without asking permission, it made a full scan of my system, found 3 instances of malware and removed them. One it considered malware was the Cnet installer. Webroot then rebooted, scanned again, found 1 more malware, removed it, scanned again foun 6 more malwares 1/2 of which were those it had removed the first two times. It removed the file I’d come to Cnet to download, I feel it did this because the installer had an .exe.exe extension, often a sign of malware. After all this, scanning/rebooting 3 times, the software I wanted from Cnet had been removed! In the future I will seek elsewhere for my software downloads, I refuse to use download.com until that irritating Installer is no longer a part of Cnet. Download.com worked quite well without that installer, and I won’t visit download.com again until Cnet ceases to use it.

If you are looking for a smaller PDF Program I recommend trying FOXIT READER. It’s a simple application download w/ all the features of ADOBE and then some. If you need the space without all the frills , then FOXIT is your answer.

from looking at the feedback, the maker has obviously padded their feedback on a non functional product. They just want money. Who posts reviews with a weblink for discount on PURCHASING product.

Too many “sponsored” products included in the download package. After declining each of these useless products, the download stalls. Instructed to “Connect to the Internet and click OK”, after which 3% of the product installs before I get another pop-up instructing “Connect to the Internet and click OK”. This continues until the download stalls at 7%. Time is too valuable to continue playing this game.
